The Mission of the Teton Valley Radio Amateur Club is first and foremost, to have fun! To provide an enjoyable experience for its members, to encourage leadership, and to advance the radio art within Teton County, Idaho.
The TVRAC repeater is up and running, atop Relay Ridge, in the Big Hole Mountains, at an altitude of 8840 ft. Coverage is everything we hoped it would be: Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and Blackfoot are like sitting across the table talking to someone. In the valley, great coverage has become phenomenal coverage. We're able to provide communications when cell phones display "no service." If you hike or camp you now have added safety.
Receive on 147.14, transmit on 147.74, PL/CTCSS 123
The club meets on the third Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 pm at the National Guard Armory, in Driggs, ID, just south of the airport.
All who have an interest, or curiosity, about amateur radio are invited.
The TVRAC is proud to be an ARRL affiliated club.
